Delta resident David Sullivan, 38, has been charged with criminal attempt at homicide after he got into an argument with Richard Sullivan on Saturday night and pointed a shotgun at him, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The incident occurred at 85 Hilltop Road in Peach Bottom Township.
The two got into a physical argument earlier in the night on Saturday, and later that night David Sullivan returned to Richard Sullivan's home with a shotgun and pointed the weapon at him. The two struggled over control of the shotgun until a round was discharged.
Two other people, Dolores Irwin and a 6-year-old boy, were in the home at the time. The firearm was shot in the direction of the boy's bedroom, where he was asleep. No injuries were reported.
David Sullivan was charged with criminal attempt at homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats and discharge of a firearm in an occupied building. He was arraigned by District Justice Dwayne Dubbs on Sunday morning.
