CHARLESTON, W.Va.—A West Virginia man has pleaded guilty and agreed to testify for the prosecution in a federal racketeering case targeting the Pagans Motorcycle Club.
Thirty-five-year-old Buffalo resident Donnie Ray "Hoss" Workman admitted to a single conspiracy charge Thursday. In exchange, prosecutors agreed to drop drug and firearms charges.
Workman is the sixth defendant to agree to plead guilty in the case accusing Pagans leaders, members and associates from West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida of murder conspiracy, kidnapping and other charges.
Four others have agreed to cooperate as well. Court records don't indicate whether another defendant scheduled to plead guilty next week has agreed to testify.
