JOHNSTOWN, Pa.—A Cambria County woman has been convicted of setting a fire that destroyed her live-in boyfriend's pool store.

A federal jury found 40-year-old Terri Beth Kerr of Upper Yoder Township guilty of arson.

Prosecutors say the December 2002 fire at Miller Pools and Skis near Johnstown caused $1 million in damages. The fire also sent about two dozen firefighters to the hospital with breathing problems linked to the chlorine kept at the store.

Kerr has lived with the store's owner Don Miller Jr. since 1994.

Prosecutors alleged Kerr started the fire for the insurance money.

Prosecutors alleged Kerr wanted the money to pay a $55,000 settlement to Miller's former wife so his divorce could be finalized.
