Darrah won the make-up sprint-car feature at Lincoln Speedway, and then came back to take the regularly scheduled event as well. The two wins earned Darrah $6,000 for the night. They were also Darrah's first two career sprint-car wins.
In the opening event, rained out two weeks ago, Darrah, made a bold move with five laps remaining to take the lead. York's Cory Haas and Alan Krimes were battling for the lead and entered the first turn side by side.
Darrah, however, blasted between the two leaders to take a lead he never gave up. Krimes finished second followed by Haas, Hanover's Cris Eash and early race leader Doug Dodson. Rounding out the top 10 were Brian Montieth, Niki Young, Jim Siegel, Chad Layton and Thomasville's Josh Wells.
In the regular event, Darrah didn't wait nearly as long to take the lead. He powered from the seventh starting spot to take the lead from Haas on the fifth lap. All he had to do then was worry about second-place finisher Fred Rahmer. Brian Leppo got third, with Eash and Krimes in the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were Young, Doug Esh, Layton, Wells and Haas.
Kevin Nouse claimed his first Lincoln 358 sprint-car win, taking the lead from Aaron Ott on the 12th of 20 laps. Nouse was
trailed by Steve Owings, Dover's Matt Boland, Dale Hammaker and Gerard McIntyre Jr.
