Smith was out of line
A police officer was doing his or her job, and I think it's terrible that people are pointing their fingers and directing their anger at the wrong person.
The punk, the alleged thief driving a stolen car, is solely responsible for killing Angel Blanco-Hernandez. He fled from police and chose to illegally enter the intersection and hit and kill Mr. Blanco-Hernandez.
How does this become a police officer's fault?
Toni Smith -- you were way out of line in bringing the widow to the council meeting and pointing your finger at the police officer. It was a very bad example. Maybe you should look for another job.
Our police officers need our support in this crime-ridden town, and they don't get it. Help -- York is a mess.
